BIOMEX
Assessment of BIOMasse EXport from Marine Protected Areas and its impact on fisheries in the western Mediterranean Sea.
The objective is to investigate the efficiency of Marine Protected Areas as sources of biomass. The main objective is to assess the export of fisheries-related biomass from MPAs to surrounding areas. Measures of efficiency of MPAs for biomass export is based on a multidisciplinary approach that includes biological and fisheries aspects.
